Well like I said there was more to it than that right? Go back maybe five to eight years ago and Brad seemed Bpretty based. Unlike the walkers and the other AVGN clones he didn't give a shit about internet fame. He was just there to promote his shit and I think that's why I thought he seemed way more professional. He seemed like a guy who was just using Doge to get a following and after that he'd just up and leave for his own projects.

But yeah like others said, and I truly agree with that, Brad changed and somewhere within the last three or four years he went from being Based Brad to Basic Bitch Brad that became the thing he openly mocked at one point. There was just no reason to watch him anymore once you saw his transformation into what was essentially everyone else at CA, and that's not something you expected from Brad. He always came off like he was better than that, but hey I guess that's what happens when you're just not talented enough to make your own version of The Room.

I mean you really gotta feel for Brad. He's intentionally trying to make a bad movie but he makes it bad for all the wrong reasons despite knowing the tropes and being a film school student. Maybe subversion just escaped his grasp of understanding. Much like how Angry Joe reviews video games but he sucks worse at them than DSP.

I noticed DHI seems to like RLM, I’m a fan myself but even so I find them to be a bit pretentious and douchey at times. Sure they mock SJWisms but they virtue signal like crazy anytime something vaguely sleazy happens in a movie, even something as trivial as a naked woman or vague sexual assault.

I love schlock and campy films and watch them in my own free time, but when I hear Mike drop the popcorn munching masses like or Jay talk about some pretentious weird director I can’t help but wonder. Don’t even get me started on fucking Jack,
I can tolerate him on BOTW but man he has said some stupid shit on PreRec.

They're not amazing or anything. Plinkett was always my favorite thing about them and they barely do it anymore because "greed is MASSIVELY strong." But hey, I can't blame them for not making a 10-part in-depth review with original (actually funny) jokes, when the end product is likely to get demonetized or pulled for using too much movie footage.

That's why they switched to half in the bag and that's why they only use trailer footage for half in the bag. Really obvious and has been for years. But HitB isn't nearly as funny or interesting. Mike is fun most of the time but Jay is often a pretentious hipster douche who shits on stuff just to shit on it while not going nearly hard enough on the mainstream trash. He's the kind of guy who'd piss on a movie like Sonatine for being "pretentious" but give a verbal blowjob to Star Trek 2009. The kind of hipster who seems to feel the need to be contrary on unknown movies more than with mainstream ones.

Rich Evans is a boring meme at this point. He memed himself. His opinions on nerdshit are usually better than Jay's but that makes sense because he's a huge fucking nerd.

All the non-HitB/Plinkett stuff is pretty awful, with the exception of best of the worst having some fun episodes.

I feel like DHI was a lot more pro-RLM before they franchised out into a bunch of different series, most of which weren't very good. My opinion now is kind of in the middle. I don't watch anything they put out unless it's HitB or Plinkett, and I don't watch HitB unless it's for a movie I'm interested in. So I barely ever watch.

Despite the memes, he's only had one divorce. All his friends fucking with each other seemed to be perfectly fine to his swinger friends and him up until Jake cucked him out of the possibly most disastrous relationship he could've had.

It's more about how quickly he gets engaged, how he's ready to rush into a marriage, even if he doesn't always make it to the altar. He described his break up with Violet as being dumped by his fiancee even though they'd been together maybe six months and he married Laura almost one year after he first tweeted about her, which was only a couple of months after that whole debacle. Jillian was a similar thing. I don't know if he proposed to Mantis but it wouldn't shock me if he did.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if the reason he and Rayn split was because he proposed and she said no, or she said she wanted to have an open relationship and he was surprised she actually meant it.
