Comic books suck and so do comic book conventions.
Also comic book movies.
Is Spoony dead yet?

When Comic Book Cons were about comics they weren't too bad. Then all the Power Ranger, Pokemon Card, Anime and "i'm such a nerd!" wishing they were Chris Harddick type 'spergs ruined it all around 2010.

And seriously fuck all cosplay Deadpools, such lame try-hards all.

I honestly think the only thing that ever ruined nerd culture were the "I'm such a nerd" fags that make theories about Rick and Morty on youtube types. If you see someone wearing graphic Tee's of old cartoons, have big, fake, black glasses, and a soy beard you can tell that kind of person is why people say comics and anime was a mistake.

Deadpool was never cool until the Internet wanna-bes got a hold of him, and shilled him out to the other posers.

Ambush Bug > Deadpool

FACT.
...and still: Spoony did nothing.

But Deadpool is a Marvel character.

I blame MvC3 for Deadpool's sudden rise in popularity. I know my brother purchased two issues of his comics because he became interested in the character due his MvC3 appearance ("le funny guy who once shoryukened Kitty Pride!"). Of course, since the comics where absolute garbage and relatively expensive, he pretty much dropped it after that bad sampling.

I was utterly baffled when Deadpool suddenly rose in popularity. Deadpool? As in the Deathstroke ripoff Rob Liefeld made? Since when has anything good come from that guy?

Liefeld only drew Deadpool, he didnt write the character. That's the only reason the character didn't suffer the same fate as literally everything else Liefeld created.
