Because you can watch the movie for free anytime in HD on Youtube, unlike Brad's movies. Can't have people watching stuff for free.
It's a pretty alright movie. First time I've seen it I was very high and had a blast. I actually own it on BluRay.

It's competently made. Good production value for what it is. The writing is hit or miss.
Best effort by any TGWTG but forgettable.

For one it's filmed on actual film. For two it's backed by an actual production company and investors aside from the kickstarter. Despite never aspiring to be a movie maker, he's got better connections. Brad just knows a cable guy he hired as director. Pathetic.
The Quest for the Gamechild isn't fantastic. It's an actual movie by people that gave a fuck, however. That's more than I could say about any of Brad's movies. That's why he's going to be continually and forever blown the fuck out by anyone that gives a shit. He doesn't. He just cares about pocketing most of that 50k and otherwise jizzing some absolute crap out with the most minimal effort possible. Not due to harsh monetary limitations but because he doesn't even intend on making something good.
