The OG animu is literally one of the first animus I've ever watched. I never stood a fucking chance.
The fundamental difference between us is that Lady Oscar is one of the first animus i deliberately ignored.
This is the first animu i remember watching (it may not have been the first, maybe the first was Grendizer or some shit):
I expected overly sparkly eyes and flowers everywhere - and I got that.
Then it had an animu opening. Maybe a bit weird for a movie, but as far as I'm concerned more animu movies should do that.
Then there was a second song segment. And another.
This thing is a goddamn musical.
I always hear how great the manga and original anime are, but I don't have the patience to invest that much time into 41 episodes. I was hoping I could watch this digest version and get the gist of it, but I hate most musicals.
It's not really a good summary of the anime because that one took some creative liberties with the manga (which has a few people confused already who aren't aware of the manga).
EDIT: Also fun fact: The OG animu has an alternative ending to use as an alternative episode 24, in case that is within your patience parameters.
Autism attracts more autism. Sooner or later, an internet nobody will attract the exact kind of fans - and detractors - he deserves.
