I expected overly sparkly eyes and flowers everywhere - and I got that.
Then it had an animu opening. Maybe a bit weird for a movie, but as far as I'm concerned more animu movies should do that.
Then there was a second song segment. And another.

This thing is a goddamn musical. Should've expected as much considering the Takarazuka Revue has been performing this story for half a century, but man did this blindside the fuck out of me.

I thought the Project Sekai would've been my musical animu highlight for the year, but hot dayum does this shit go hard.
