Apparently this January 23rd marks the 4th anniversary of JewWario's suicide. I guess only the most hardcore fans even remember who he is.

I remember noticing roughly a year after he died that his Patreon was still up with 1 monthly $5 donation. I thought it was ghoulish, so I emailed Patreon a link to his obituary explaining that he had passed away. They ignored me and the monthly donation continued for a good while after, and I think it only stopped because the person's card expired.

In retrospect I guess it wasn't a big deal because his wife would have been getting the money, but it still bothered me.
