A lot of collectors are sick. They have a disease, just like an alcoholic. People wonder how darksdafil lost a bunch of his early youtube monies buying statues. What's the point of hoarding a big pile of shit that you aren't going to use? I want to differentiate between people who have a lot of something, but use it, vs those who just collect it. I'm fine with people buying something because they want to make use of it, but I'm not cool with these pat the nes cunt types who just want to buy up all the shit, shove it into a gaymer shrine and then jack themselves off over how high they've jacked up the prices on ebay. Metal Jesus just adds to that shit by trying to shill shitty and mediocre games as "hidden gems," thus increasing demand and driving up the price of games that are honestly just bad.

Collecting something you like in itself isn't bad. But like tictac said as long as you use/play/read/watch/whatever it. I genuinely thing having a couple of games you really love and call it your collection or whatever is fine. It's the completionist/hoarding collecting that's truly cancerous. When you buy stuf you really gotta ask yourself "Am I really ever going to use/play/whatever this." If the answer is no and you still get it, you're literally buying because you're sick and you're doing it for the cheap thrills.

Nice NES collection faggot, about 20 games out of those 500+ are worth playing.
