I have seen some statues that made me embarrassed for other people. I follow companies like good smile and sometimes am unfortunate enough to see some of the less ridiculous but still questionable ones out there. Plus the price too, wow. I like posable stuff so I can change the display when I feel like it, it’s my dorky feng shui.VoiceOfReasonPast wrote: ↑Sat Dec 22, 2018 5:12 pmThey're not creepy. They fill out important pieces of lore since they finally let you get a good look at the pantsus.Old Black Man wrote: ↑Fri Dec 21, 2018 11:50 pmBusts are lame and the real deal breaker is the creepy anime statues. I’m a collector of crap myself but I have standards. Like that Mezco 1:12 Blade I’ve got on the way.![]()
Also congrats on that Blade statue.
And hell yeah, I’m not much for comic stuff, but Blade and some of the other paranormal characters strike a chord with me. They’ve been knocking it out the park with that line, their recent Michael Myers was fantastic and put neca to shame, which they should feel.
It’d be super niche but some of the toy companies and their representatives are almost IN worthy. Todd McFarlane is an out of touch old coot who thinks 5 points of articulation is generous, and Randy Falk of NECA is one of the saltiest bitch niggas I’ve ever had the pleasure of trolling. My friend had saved a ridiculous quote from him about how including a bundle of balloons with a Pennywise figure was costing the company so much. He’s ridiculous.
