Has anyone seen Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay?
This cartoon is something I would have liked when I was 14-years old. It tries way too hard to get its R-rating. It's way too violent-- it's easily the most bloody and gory of any previous DC animated project ever. And I don't see the purpose, it's not horror, it's stupid capeshit. Fair amount of swearing, of course to get that R. Sometimes it feels natural and sometimes it doesn't.

It's funny that they want that R rating so badly, but they still won't show tits. There's a stronk, powerful lesbian couple in the film (because of course there is) and there's even a scene where one of them undresses and they do the usual Austin Powers camera dodges and shadows to hide the nudity. But they ARE able to derail the plot to go to a male strip club and hang around this idiot male stripper character for much too long.

And then there's this "WHAT A TWIST!!!" towards the end where it connects to Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox. Except that came out in 2013 and I don't remember ANYTHING about it. So you might want to rewatch that before watching this one.

This movie is OK I guess. It didn't offend me like Batman and Harley Quinn or anything, but just seemed like your run of the mill DCAMU with extra blood, death, and gore.

I saw that other Suicide Squad OVA (Assault on Arkham?) was okay I guess. Edgelord trash. Meh.

Did they? It must have been brief because I missed it. The "female gaze" camera was all over that stupid male stripper guy. I think there was another part where the camera was ogling a male character's jiggling junk in his underwear.
