I don't wanna white knight too much for Dez, but some people never get out of that victim mentality. It's a sad thing, but I wouldn't really want to shit on them too much for it. It's like conditioning. Who knows if Dez was abused as a kid. Maybe she's spent most of her life up until she left Boogie being used as a doormat and abused. It's hard to break that cycle if you get into it young, and a lot of times it's not possible to have healthy relationships because chronic abuse victims tend to gravitate towards abusers.
