Which reminds me, I really should watch that one. Clean movies are so rare these days.

Has he even made an R-rated movie since Insomnia?

Dunkirk was faggy as hell. Shit score and fucking effeminate pop stars all over the place. Plus that weird subplot about some guy's kid getting murdered and him not caring.

Fucking Brits are so bad at war they celebrate a defeat. They're like pale Mexicans.

The British army is so retarded, their officers take pride in not bothering with cover.

God he hasn't - hasn't made a movie I've genuinely liked since Inception, either.
My issue with Dunkirk is its structure - like I get the gimmick, but with no characters to be invested in or no sense of where the movie is the thing just sort goes on and on and on.
Private Ryan is still the best WW2 movie.

DHI is proof you can be both a massive homosexual and a virgin. They're not exclusive. If you display both in large enough quantities you can qualify for mod status.

Inception is only good because Nolan ripped off Satoshi Kon's Paprika and Don Rosa's The Dream of a Lifetime.

Private Ryan isn't as good as Gallipoli. inb4 i'm accused of sucking up to australians.
SpoilerShow
"ripping off" isn't even remotely harsh enough to describe how much Inception lifted from Paprika

Gallipoli, Dunkirk, Churchill. I'm noticing a pattern here.

I thought he was just talking about world war movies in general. Didn't catch the part where he said WW2 specifically. My bad.

Saving Private Ryan is so over-dramatic that I'm still reluctant to award it the "best" spot for anything. It's fine, but has many    moments, cliches and unrealistic sequences. Downfall and Inglorious Bastards were both better imo. Conspiracy (tv movie) is another I can heartily recommend.
