I cut Brad a lot of slack with this. Those cats had become mascots for his channel and had gradually gotten bigger roles in his shows due to his human friends vanishing. His audience kinda needed to know.

Losing a pet is a heartbreaker. I feel bad for anyone in that situation. I have two dogs and three cats. A cat is sleeping on my lap as I type this. They really do become family members.

If talking about it at length in a video helps out with the grief for that person, so be it. You don't have to watch it. I didn't watch the whole video myself and who cares?

What I saw though was sincere, just a guy comfortable talking to the camera, not trying to prove anything.
