I'm not joking in the slightest. There's something seriously wrong with those people.

The utter inability to respect that cats are sentient beings with their own personality that are entirely free to do what they want and their inability to arrange with that is massive red flag and should be to any person. If they can't deal with a cat doing that, they can't deal with you doing it either.

As for dogs, who are generally much more sheepish and just absolutely stoked to interact with people, if you dislike them you're plain evil.
Sure, you don't want to pet that good boy Doberman that keeps strangers off the property. But that's not "doesn't like dogs" generally speaking.

I'll also extend that to any farm animals. Disliking pigs, cows, horses, chicken, ducks, geese, horses, donkeys, sheep or even alpacas is deranged person kinda shit. You're fucked in the head and I'll think of you as a crazy person. Because you are.

Do you believe in curses or bad luck? I was basically an atheist in my youth and did not give such things a second thought. But as I've gotten older I start to see uncanny patterns.

Almost every year around the Passover/Easter season a death in the family occurs. Usually a pet, but sometimes a person. As I wrote about earlier in the month, my mom's cat died. But yesterday my brother's cat also died. And my mom's other cat came home a few days ago injured and limping. She now has to stay indoors and take antibiotics for the bite-wounds she sustained.

It really disturbs me and makes me unable to enjoy the beauty of the spring season.

I live among superstitious people, who believe in all sorts of nonsense from all range of cultures - spirits, energy, curses, bad omens, etc. Strangely, it only seems to affect them - meanwhile the evil spirits and demons seem just ignore me and are incapable of causing me even mild discomfort.
