He should've just tracked down the doctor who originally inspired Lecter. Dude was still alive.

To get ideas for that book he interviewed Pietro Pacciani, the main suspect for the monster of Florence murders.
Because an illiterate subhuman troglodyte who raped his daughters and was barely able to put coherent sentences together was the perfect inspiration for a Silence sequel
Yeah, and? He interviewed tons of killers and FBI men (especially John Douglas) to prepare for Red Dragon and Silence of the Lambs. The fact that he interviewed a particularly detestable killer for inspiration is not Hannibal's problem.

I've heard that if a guy has a good father figure in his life, he'll likely not turn out like an incel. I've also heard boys that grow up with sisters learn to understand girls much better.
I must dispute that. MovieBob had both those things and fucking look at him

Imagine spending a billion US dollars to be a loser. Could've watched animu and be one for free.

Life can hand you all the cards, but that won't do you any good if you're to stupid to play.

I'm a firm adherent to the "shit, shower and shave" morning routine. You take care of that business early. I eat healthy and lightly. Can't remember the last time that I needed to shit while in a public place.

However, I do piss about 58 times a day.
People who shit in public are lower than animals. Bonus points if they're Mexicans because they leave their shitty tp all over the floor.

Yeah, and?
Lecter is supposed to be charismatic, very smart and cultured.
Pacciani and his friends/accomplices were the living equivalent of the Wrong Turn inbreds, only much less competent.
There was no need to interview him, just looking at the footage of their depositions was enough for anyone to realize they weren't even able to speak properly.
And the writer used him as an inspiration for a book that was supposed to be Hannibal-centric

You've read the book, yes? Based on your description this person was clearly the inspiration for Verger, not Lecter. One of the complaints about Hannibal is that Harris made Lecter too sympathetic.

No i didn't, everyone i knew back then told me it was crap and knowing that Pacciani was somehow involved didn't help.
Edit: I thought the main complaint about Hannibal was turning the Jodie Foster character to the dark side for no solid reason, and that's also why she refused to be in the movie

That was the main complaint, yes. Harris completely butchered Starling's character. There were lots of other smaller complaints though

Julianne Moore was a better fit for a Ridley Scott movie.

Phobos is one of the unstable environments in the galaxy. That's why they call it the DOOMED moon.
Woke Doom is a prequel movie to cover its cheapness. Lead actress is the most boring, generic A-cup who ever lived, and the rest of the "marines" are possibly the most miscast actors ever. Just not a muscle or hint of toughness among them.

This thing has Made in Canada written all over it.
