Sounds like somebody didn't understand how to play witcher 2. If you prep (the bull?) properly before every battle, all combat is a foregone conclusion. If you don't know what to bring to a fight, it's best to just take the standard bombs, knives and drink ordinary buff potions. Likewise, if you don't know what signs to use, Quen, Aard and Igni are always solid.
