So I skimmed through the video and at 1:34:27 she actually apologizes to Blobbert for telling him off on twitter.
Okay, I watched this part because I was curious. She does apologize to Blob, BUT she still explicitly calls him a "creep" and says that they're "not friends". It comes out of a part where she talks about how Twitter was bad for her mentally and was making her unnecessarily mean. She also doesn't like that her gut-punch to Blob became a meme and a source of fun for people she doesn't like (people like us, no doubt).
I know that Blob is awkward, but I don't think even he could hear these remarks as any kind of olive branch.
Because she basically said "I am sorry, but he had it coming".
She regrets her "moment of weakness", without excusing his "transgressions".
You know, like a wifebeater who tells the cops he is sorry he hit his wife, but she just kept pushing his buttons and provoked him on purpose.
I never felt sorry for Blob when he got put through the wringer and I never considered it a win for him that she left twitter for a month after getting cancelled while he just had to go on protected for a weekend. It would be like saying some random shit farmer won Game of Thrones because he lost less family members than the royal factions scheming and backstabbing each other.
That said, I can believe Lindsay probably did what she does to anyone who thought could help her career to Blob. Especially if it was back when the CA gravy train was coming to an end and she hadn't built her network yet. Pretended to be his friend then blew him off when he was no longer useful. This is a good point. I'd never even heard of "softblocking" until Lindsay mentioned it and would never think to do that because it's such a coward's move. It's not a good thing to admit.

The problem with this thinking is, who in God's name would think Blob could do anything for their career? Even within the Escapist circle, if you wanted to suck up to anyone back then it would be either Yahtzee or, if you couldn't get him, Jim Sterling. Not Blob.
