Nice $9000 "Anonymous" donation in there...
Funny how that always happens close to the deadline. Must be some swell guy, helping out these indie kahntent producers without wanting any fame or recognition himself.
Yeah, that was totally not unexpected. At this point, why even have it crowdfunded?

Clerks costed less to make than this, and that was back when making a low budget film costed more due to equipment and stuff.

There was a pretty good middle eastern film I saw a long time ago, and if I remember correctly it cost around 5000 USD for them to make it. Talented people can make great films with little to nothing. Untalented people make The Cinema Snob Movie.

Did it? Because 1979 Phantasm looks great whilst 2016 Phantasm looks like garbage and they had about the same budget of 300k

Low-budget productions can no longer into decent practical effects. It's all Lawnmower Man graphics.

I guess it's harder to get an actual propman involved so it's off to After Effects.
Goon manlet cuck Chip Cheezum used to make fun of random garbage on Blip with his homo friends and I saw a lot of bizarre uses of CG there. I never watch new movies so thats my basis of "indie" productions.

We also have a STRETCH GOAL of 75k to get a name actor to play an important role in the film.
AKA we'll reach 60k and I'll get my 9k I put into the movie earlier.
