Re: Doge Walker and Channel Awesome
His fair use crusade always pissed me off the most. His reviews are basically him showing the film in a negative light and giving away the entire plot while using footage of the film that he doesn't own. So the company that own the film are unhappy about this and they're the bad guys?

The negative attention wasn't even the main reason they were unhappy. It was the fact that people were using their content in, let's face it, a rather minimally transformative way, and making bank off of it, effectively getting paid for work they didn't do. Come to think of it, maybe that's part of the reason the skits became so prominent; like, such-and-such percent of the review's runtime has to be original footage or some shit.TheManWithNoPlan wrote: ↑Sat Jan 26, 2019 8:46 pmHis fair use crusade always pissed me off the most. Still, it's not like Doge is the only one doing it. All of the complicit crusaders are doing it, too. They don't even know how to not do it.
Sure, it was whiny and shitty, but he didn't try to destroy someone for petty bullshit years after the fact.

Autism attracts more autism. Sooner or later, an internet nobody will attract the exact kind of fans - and detractors - he deserves.

I consider Doge's past sins to be baptized away by Lupa's tears.

Also every IN is now always e-begging, all the time, more shameless than Doge ever did.

He still doesn't have patreon which he could easily get 10k a month from autism alone. I give Doge mad respect.

Because we all were under the impression that TGWTG was ran by business experts and masters of their craft. Never in a thousand years would we have even thought that it may just be a group of chucklefucks that are incompetent at everything they do without the gutter trash of that already dead site making us aware of it.

They just exposed their own stupidity and repeatedly bounce their autistic asses around the room for everyone to see when the majority already stopped caring,Guest wrote: ↑Sat Jan 26, 2019 7:56 pmExposing your employers to an online audience isn't the same as e-begging, no.
