Nothing so complex. He's obsessed with Spidey because he's a manchild. He's posting the same thing each week because he's very boring and doesn't have a lot of original thoughts.

I'm also still milling about the idea to write a synopsis for his fan fic story myself, but it really might not be worth it even if I'd manage to keep it up to standards.
The bar for fan fics is just so dang low that his really isn't the worst I've read by far, but it might offer some insight into his inner workings of the time and how little he actually changed.
