I hate those singing scenes and I generally hate Disney.
Same. Always hated singing sings, and I always felt embarrassed watching them with other people. as a kid. I still can't watch movies with other people, I don't know how you theater going dipshits do it.

God, I thought I was the only one.
I enjoyed Disney movies, and watched plenty of them as a kid, but I couldn't stand the singing. I enjoyed the films for the parts where they didn't sing

Imagine spending a billion US dollars to be a loser. Could've watched animu and be one for free.

This remake won't age well. Considering the (overused) advancement of CGI animation software, this movie will look dated in less than 10 years while the original will still hold up in decades to come due to being traditionally animated.

Then again, CGI's getting worse with time and is looking more and more vidya-tier if anything.

Only Disney film with good songs was The Jungle Book, because they hired actual jazz musicians rather than having a hack composer write cheesy classical/pop

They don't care. So long as it does well on opening weekend, Disney don't care if people don't remember it even six months later. Whether a film will age well or not is a concern for people who aren't completely creatively bankrupt

I keep seeing this headline on the Google homepage on my phone: How the Crimes of Grindel-whatever Failed at Representation and What J.K. Rowling Can Do About It.

Doesn't this one take place in 1920s/1930s America in a mostly middle class setting in the fucking city? What fucking representation are these whiners looking for this time?

I think this one is from Gizmodo, one of the sites I try to avoid, but I might be able to work up a big enough bullshit shield to read the article later.

Lupa is alone. She has no one. Fucking Spoony has a better social life than her and he's practically a chair.

Something about not making Dumbledore's gayness blatant(I don't know what they wanted, Jude Law in a pink tutu? They outright say the two were closer than brothers in the film and have them holding hands)

They are when convenient. You know, when they talk about how "us white people" need to do some cuck shit like checking our privilege.
