Last week there was some shit about a "veteran with PTSD blah blah" and when you got into the details of the story the bitch did 2 whole years and the only time she was overseas was for a few months in South Korea where I'm sure she saw all sorts of combat action serving as a cum bucket in the enlisted barracks.
PTSD as a defense needs to end or anyone with PTSD needs to be committed NOW. You can't have it both ways. Either they are psycho monsters one loud noise away from gunning down their families, or it's a bullshit excuse.
The problem is that it's damn near impossible to have someone sectioned in the United States. In Britain if your peers or your family even suspect there's something up with you mentally, they can have you committed to a mental hospital at least for observation. In the US you'd need to attempt to kill yourself or others before they'd even consider it.
If he had PTSD prior to enlisting, he could use that in his defense I guess. But the way the skeptifem show talks about his PTSD, if I only listened to them, I'd be going away from the whole situation believing he served a year in combat over in bumfuckistan watching his squad mates get killed by IADs.
