What is the logic of still using Gamebryoken if the engine is so hard to work with?

Plus the modding community will probably bitch and moan if they have to learn something new.

It's an extremely common syndrome of corporations to favour their own outdated trash systems and software over others, even when they acquire another company.ebin namefag wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2024 10:45 pmWhat is the logic of still using Gamebryoken if the engine is so hard to work with?
If EA was to buy Epic they would immediately stomp the Unreal Engine and instead force the few devs they don't close to use Frostbyte. Doesn't even matter of it makes sense to do so. Because that engine was used by a different company, so into the trash it goes.

Speaking of, is someone here going to play this piece of shit?Singh'sSpot wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2024 1:54 amI was just thinking about this: what if some modder or a small team were to create a brand new game out of this, like Endreal but in space, maybe the same company can also make something from this, maybe.
It looks like garbage covered in poop, it's optimized like a piece of shit covered in garbage, unlike Endreal it requires the original gayme installed, and i bet it's woke as fuck.
What's even the point of making a Failout game in London?
Wasn't North America the only place with pockets of humanity left, because of Vault Tec and their Vaults?

That would justify a British localization of Final Fantasy XII and it's Loicense Board.VoiceOfReasonPast wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2024 4:52 amLoicense-based economy.Complicity wrote: ↑Mon Aug 12, 2024 11:57 pmWhat's even the point of making a Failout game in London?

It's totally unknown what's going on outside of North America in Fallout.Complicity wrote: ↑Mon Aug 12, 2024 11:57 pmWasn't North America the only place with pockets of humanity left, because of Vault Tec and their Vaults?
Not that it matters because anything written today would be awful anyway.

You just know that Fallout-Africa is a Wakandian utopia.

I can't imagine anyone bothering to nuke it. Cut off foreign aid and the continent will look like any wasteland in Fallout anyway.VoiceOfReasonPast wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2024 3:51 pmYou just know that Fallout-Africa is a Wakandian utopia.
