I don't care about bad movies. Laughing at bad movies stopped being fun for me once I realized a lot of bad movies are secretly good and movie watchers are faggots afraid to like "thing" if "thing" isn't universally agreed to be objectively a masterpiece.

Legitimately bad movies are mostly boring and shitty, not worth watching.

I don't care about mainstream goyslop movies. I care about epics, genre films (noir, western, samurai, kung fu/wuxia, heist) but very little about most other stuff. Epics don't get made anymore. Film noir hit the apex a generation before I was born. Westerns are dead. Samurai movies are dead. Kung fu and wuxia movies were replaced by CGI shitshows and are dead. Heist movies get made barely. Speculative science fiction gets made rarely or never. Fantasy movies are almost never good or else peaked in the '80s before dying. Everything I like is dead.

RedLetterMedia have nothing to offer me anymore. It was funny to watch them sperge out over disney corporatizing Lucas' sloppy mess of a franchise. But we saw the endpoint of that already. Jizzney franchises are established now and we know how soulless their shit is without being told.

Other than Jay sperging about some indie film nobody has ever seen, what's left? They tried video games and crashed miserably because Mike, Jay and Rich are failed normalfags too non-autistic to get into vidya.

They could go back to independent film production... Hell, maybe they even have and I completely didn't notice because I haven't paid attention to their uploads in years. I think I'm still subbed too. I'm subbed and even I don't know or care what they put out!

That's why out of the 100 or so episodes of MST3K there are about ten worth watching. They had to use public domain garbage and those proper bad movies are incredibly boring. Not even riffing on them makes them fun.

MST3K is at its best riffing on instructional/educational shorts. They don't drag too long and usually have a preachy tone that is ripe for some good jokes. "A Date With Your Family" and "Money Talks" are good examples.

The last bad movie I actively went to watch because it was bad was Dragonball Evolution, and I have no desire to repeat the experience. I barely find time to watch good movies anymore, there's no way in hell I'm going to watch some fucking awful capeshit as an attempt to entertain myself.
