There's little Iran can do, though, besides chucking some missiles at American bases' empty parking lots to save face. Israel is taking the brunt of their, ahem, mighty wrath, and that's absolutely fine, the Jews deserve it.

It might, but it also might die down a little. Iran isn't really in the position to rain down destruction on anyone at this point, and their proxies in the region are definitely worn out as well.

There might be something happening inside the US though, thanks to the porous US border. THAT may be the escalating factor.
