Here's where I'm coming from. I had a medical issue a few years ago that, without the use of Medicaid - now apparently on the chopping block - would have racked up a tab pretty fucking quickly. The odds are quite high without that program, there would have been problems, so the adamance that it costs too much from certain circles has me clocking every time this administration spends tens of millions on shit that's fucking stupid.
