Neymar is so pathetic, he obviously did some extra training for this WC. Acting training and pretending like he's been shot whenever somebody gets near him... so sad for a player of his calibre.

How could you tell if someone was cheating in this gay-ass sport anyway?

If you didn't watch the game it would seem that way, but Spain really were just that shit with the ball. Russia never looked like scoring.Keith Chegwin wrote: ↑Mon Jul 02, 2018 6:43 pmI think we know how they lost to Russia *cough*bribes*cough*

In Korea-japan the refball was too evident to South Korea, just to put one of the host countries in the best 4.
Brasil and belgium going to the next phase as expected, at least the games were far more entertaining than yesterday, no parking the bus tactic in general. I would say that tomorrow new somalia and congolombia are with more chances of going to the next phase in tomorrow games.

Re: World Cup Thread
Brazil and Belgium is an interesting match up. Brazil haven't been properly tested at the back and Belgium have enough talent to really trouble them. But Belgium have been a bit sloppy though after nearly choking against Japan and conceding a few to Tunisia which Brazil will punish them for. I would rather Belgium go through to increase the chances of a first time world cup winner but I think they will do what they have done lately in big tournaments and fuck up under pressure, like they nearly did against Japan. It may be another 4-3 game though.Bobito wrote: ↑Tue Jul 03, 2018 12:30 amIn Korea-japan the refball was too evident to South Korea, just to put one of the host countries in the best 4.

Sweden have been playing too well to lose to the Swiss and I think they'll win comfortably, but the other game I am not so sure. Columbia look okay but not as good as they were last time in 2014, and England have had it too easy (that Belgium game was both teams resting) so you have no idea how they will play. It's a bit early for England to choke and on paper they look much better but it could go either way, though I don't see either team beating Sweden with the way they are playing.

Hopefully there'll be a few goals in that Brazil - Belgium game. Belgium look very frail at the back at times, but they're so physical I think Brazil will struggle to cope.

Agreed I'm not on the Sweden hype train. They beat an average Worst Korea and a Mexico that had already qualified. Today will be a decent test for them. I'd rather play them than the Swiss in the QF if we get there, that's for sure.

Re: World Cup Thread
The game was very meh. Sweden got a goal thanks to the help of a defender deflecting the shot in the most unnecessary way. Neither had really good chances except one each, neither really deserve to go on but Sweden continues with mediocre and unconvincing plays. Switzerland didn't really manage anything either so I guess it's okay.
Bad game from both teams. So England may be next for Sweden. Not a bad ticket for you island monkeys, if you manage to win today because Sweden is free like seats at an Oprah movie.
