Isn't TSE forums runned by its moderators? If Spoony is the only admin there then they are fucked.

Being admin on a forum means next to nothing if you aren't "founder" and have access to the backup data. I can make, edit, move and delete forums, users and groups and such. But everything to do with the nitty gritty isn't part of the "admin" designation. It's more like being a super moderator or something.
So if shit's fucked at the TSE forums, the only one who can fix it is Spoony. Good luck with that.

Idiots like him are the reason a product never gets any better. Here in burgerland we call it "The Cleveland Browns" example--I'm sure those of you can think of another example in your country. It's a sports team that it mired in serious, comical level of losing and failure (just went winless this season, only third time that's happened in modern NFL). Yet the 'fans' still show up and pay to get in. The wear bags on their head, they complain, complain, complain. But they shell out their season tickets and fan jerseys, year after year.

No, sadly. They just stick around to be a low-tier laughingstock that gets to stay in business because they get an equal share of the lucrative TV revenue. There's no way in hell owners would just let themselves move, especially after fleecing tehir cities with a taxpayer funded stadium.

Oftentimes you'll just see some deliberately tank to improve their draft position. This usually backfires due to bad management (or as in the NBA, the draft lottery imposing an element of random chance in the drawing), so you usually end up seeing the same teams year after year at the top and bottom, and the rest mired in mediocrity.

There's no other business in the world where you can get hired based on the promise things will improve "after three years."

That and the drafting I really don't get. Football (proper) here has leagues in tiers. You've got the Bundesliga, the second Bundesliga below that, the third league below that and after that it's regional leagues and so on. You don't get to have a say what league you're in. You're in the last two places of the Bundesliga? It's second Bundesliga for you next year.
Then there's also the rule that no company or person can ever own a team by majority share and that you've got to have a stable finance plan and be solvent to even stay in the two highest leagues in the first place.
And we don't have anything like drafting at all. You make contracts with whoever you want.

Baseball is just as baffling with your two big leagues that somehow get thrown together as MLB but then again not. Your whole playoffs and superbowl and point system as well is confusing. It's all so overly complicated for no apparent reason. Drafts I kinda get, I think, with your college system or something. But the other stuff is a mystery to me.
