I've been meaning to go back to old horror-action mango that was in print when I was a kiddie. I'm starting with Project ARMS and I'll probably read Violence Jack and Devilman as well.

Horror-action manga doesn't really get made the same way. We had Ajin and the Gantz guy is still making manga, but that's all I can think of.

Have you ever checked out any of Shigeru Mizuki's stuff? It's all pretty old though, GeGeGe no Kitaro is his most famous. Recently he's become popular and they've been translating all his old stuff into English. Of course they wait until right after he dies to finally appreciate him. And they still haven't brought over his anime adaptations.

I'm watching this now. If the old OVA is better, let me know, but this has been the most entertaining of the various shows I've been perusing. I'm also kind of watching Zetman. I might try that dimension W shit just because the animation is quality.

The TV show tells the complete story. The OVAs just do a few of the very earliest chapters. Episode 4 of the OVAs is an original story not from the manga or the TV show, so maybe that might be of interest.

Asura's Wrath needs an anime adaptation from one of these studios that can animate. Maybe Trigger, if someone could give them an actual fucking budget.
