NCunt: Black Cocks Only
Re: NCunt: Black Cocks Only
That's the core joke about the identity politics BS. If you say "I am X" then you must do and be "A,B,C" or your personal pedestal implodes and your 'tolerant' and 'progressive' friends will eat you alive.
Worse, they usually know it too, so they'll bend over backwards to protect whatever they've labeled themselves as.
With one exception (the guy has almost literally no sex drive) every asexual or demisexual I've ever encountered fits the same pattern. I'll use 'she' here to save time.
Mild-to-moderate introvert with a low-normal to slightly diminished libido. Goes to highschool/college with hypersexual, extroverted and progressive (read: Fuck everyone who doesn't agree with me) friends (or parents, etc) who WILL. NOT. SHUT. UP. about sex. This isn't that it comes up now and then, this is that four of every five conversations that last more than a minute will loop back to it if they don't start there, and this goes on for years.
Most of her secondary friends and acquaintances mostly get noticed when something big's happening, which mostly means hookups and breakups. Meanwhile, despite protestations, her friends will constantly try to hook her up with anything that moves. Those 'tolerant' and 'accepting' friends, can't grasp the introvert's reasonable and frankly healthy outlook on sex and the associated concerns from diseases, to not being keen on being that vulnerable with people she doesn't actually trust that much, to just not liking the club scene to "Every time you get a boyfriend, you're a bitch for a month, then a total wreck for another three."
Eventually, someone stumbles on the term 'asexual' and it gets applied with the subtlety of a crowbar, be that as a defense, or to finally explain the aberration that is their friend. Having 'accepted her sexuality,' her friends finally lay the hell off and give her some goddamn breathing room (because now they're being progressive, don'cha know). Things get better for a lot of dumb reasons.
Skip ahead. Pressure off, she actually gets to know someone in a friendlier atmosphere and things develop, provided her friends don't chase everyone off, for her own good. She actually WANTS to be intimate (both senses) with the guy and things go at a pace she's comfortable with, they hook up, etc. Lo and behold, she actually likes the relationship and even the sex part.
Can't go backwards. Never question progress. Other terms... Demisexual... It's not that I'm ever attracted to anyone, it's all about emotions! Yeah!
So, yeah, TL;DR. Mostly people with a slightly lower sex drive and, as a result, don't get the difference between 'desire' and 'mind melting, obsessive lust.' The latter of which, I don't actually believe is real and is mostly playing it up for drama.
What she SHOULD have said is: "I was a bit wrong before. My husband and I may be a little different, but this works for us and I have never once done anything I didn't want to do. He treats me like fine wine, and that's a damn sight better than most I've seen. Thank you for your concern, but mind your own business."

Right... small words. Gotta speak to the peeps.
Asexual: Wow, everyone around me's sex crazy. I'm interested but...
Every friend for a decade: "Imma real proud of you and imam respect your choices, but you need to get laid. No, no, I know better because horny. I know the last two hundred didn't work out, but here's...
Asexual: Oh, fuck everything!
EFFAD: Yes!
Asexual: DAMMIT!

Reminds me of when I was in college and I kept refusing to do drugs with people. Somebody labeled me "straight-edge" and I just went along with it because it got me out of bullshit social situations easier.

I had a friend who used to tell people he was a recovering alcoholic to get out of drinking. I think in reality he had an intolerance or something but drinkers can get really pushy on that shit, because if everyone's keeping up then that means they don't have a problem or aren't trying to escape their pathetic lives.
Lindsay was probably one of those pusher type of drunks.

I figured that the vampire bitch just didn't want to fuck Paw but it's all she could get, if Chad and Tyrone approached her her legs would damn near fly off.

What's with people and their inability to stand their ground and just say "no"? I never drank alcohol in my entire life, and whenever people offered me, I just had to say "no" If someone gets pushy, I just say "no" louder and look angry.drisko wrote: ↑Sat Dec 23, 2017 7:13 amI had a friend who used to tell people he was a recovering alcoholic to get out of drinking. (Incidentally, my favorite thing about being a non-drinker is that I also don't drive, so I always end up disappointing the drunkards who think I would be willing to be their designated driver).

It just depends on what kind of social situation I'm in. If I'm with friends, it's pretty easy. If I'm at some kind of party like in college, it gets harder, but I can stand me ground.Le Redditeur wrote: ↑Sun Dec 24, 2017 4:34 amWhat's with people and their inability to stand their ground and just say "no"? Hardest situations were when I lived in Japan and there were social situations where extreme pressure is put on you to drink and get to know people. If you didn't, people were insulted. It sucked, and I was never able to find a way around it.

Japs are weird. But I still think that an angry look, coupled with the obvious physical superiority of a Western physique, would make pushy Japs want to crawl back to their rice farms. If it doesn't, then casually mentioning that "two bombs weren't nearly enough!" should do the trick.

Yes, it's very easy to intimidate them and make them go away. (I've done this. There is a reason I don't want to drink.) But it is very difficult to make friends or network especially if you are a Hairy Barbarian Gaijin.Le Redditeur wrote: ↑Sun Dec 24, 2017 4:50 amJaps are weird.
