My family has been going through the Disney catalog. We watched Bambi and really dug it, so what the hell, lets watch the cheapo 2000's era direct-to-DVD sequel.
And it's... fine, I guess. I doubt I'll ever watch it again, but it was inoffensive. Perfectly fine for children. I regret being one of those people that grumbled about Eisner cranking out these cheapo sequels to classic movies. It's so much more preferable than these current-day live action remakes. Those sequels were easily ignored. This live action crap is so in your face and woke as fuck.

The Eisner era Disney sequels...many of them do kind of dilute the original movies; though yeah, the remakes do more damage. Unlike the live action remakes, I like a couple of the sequels.
Lion King 1 1/2 and the Lilo and Stitch sequel that set up the TV show to be specific.
