I’m halfway through season 2 and have a hard time believing the nerdy kid went from the dud to Turok in whatever span of time has passed…they’re not good at keeping track of that either.

Apparently James Cameron was one of those lined up to direct the original and it would have been more like Aliens, I’d take that. Both books had kids, but didn’t shy away from being brutal.

I was worried Camp Crusty would be too kiddified, but it’s surprisingly in line with the movies in terms of tone.
