Things are looking up for Second Wind as they had a much lower net loss Q1 2025 compared to Q4 2024. This is explained for several reasons. Freelancers expense went from 6 to 3K. However Business expenses went up from 5K to 10K. The salary expense decreased from 225K to 215K. The lower salary expense is explained by the Patreon Post explaining that the team took pay cuts with Nick Calandra and Yahtzee taking the biggest pay cuts. YouTube income went down however from 41K to 33K though that is easily explained as a result of higher ad rates for the holidays and the ad rates going to shit in January. Patreon did go up from 126K to 141K. Sponsors went up from 25K to 38K.

However there seems to be a problem with their numbers. I think the net loss in incorrect as they have -10,482.59 from the income of 215,099.50 and expenses of 229,402.46. that doesn't equal 10K, that actually equals over 14k for net loss. Actually it gets worse as I added up all their income and it actually equaled $214,179.62 so their net loss is actually over 15K. I have no idea how this got screwed up.

Considering the numbers on these budgets don't add up, Nick is likely embezzling and taking payola from publishers while the getting is good despite claiming to take a pay cut.
