I've been casually reading Brad's book. It's pretty decent. I'm only on chapter 6 and there's been a turf war shootout between two porn theaters and a cameo by Burt Reynolds.

His writing is much better, so he's growing as an author. I would recommend "Bat Pussy" if you want an easy read about the porn industry. It's even better when you picture the protagonist as Brad himself.

Doge did address this fatigue he's talking about some time ago in a video. He's having some sort of neurological problem like dementia (NOT dementia, just something mildly akin to it). Those are my words because I saw long time ago, and only remember the jist of it.
