Would "The Matrix: The Force Awakens" been even a little interesting, tho? I know Ghostbusters was a hit doing the same damn thing, but all that shit feels manufactured, and even then Frozen Empire still bombed, whereas The Wachowskis are too weird for that not to reflect in their movies.

Pretty much. Most people only really like the first Matrix movie.

Going back to Joker 2. The only people I have seen that liked it are Troons and Ya Bitch Boi Zack, who always has had terrible taste in movies and wants to be a contranian to who he calls the Birthday Clowns.

It sounds like musical Joker is bombing with both critics and audiences so I'm guessing everyone involved will pull a Brad Jones and claim it was shitty on purpose.

Joker 2 pulled off the classic "Shit on established characters and lore to spite the problematic old fans" in the span of one movie. Amazing, actually. It's like WB wants to make damn sure that none of their DC endeavours will ever bear fruit

Man, i just saw the final scene on a pirate site and, while Joaquin is dying, Jacob Loafland is in the background cutting himself for those sweet Heath Ledger's scars.
This is a musical with Lady Gaga in which the protagonist takes it in the ass while in prison, and yet that is the gayest scene in it.

What completely blows me is the fact the known budget was 200 million dollars. Like what did they use it on. My understanding is that it doesn't have much in special effects and the 2 settings are the asylum and the courthouse. While we know that Phoenix, Phillips, and Gaga were paid 50 million combined, I wonder where the rest went.
