Tictac has gone into far more detail on this topic, but it bears repeating: I always thought Tarantino is mind-boggingly overrated and can't write a cohesive, engaging storyline if his sorry buttboy existence relied on it.

There's a book, Rebels on the Backlot, that goes into Tarantino and basically shows his producing partners wrote Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction and he just put his name on it. He steals everything.
