Gotten Blaster Master Zero 3. Dayum the beefed up Jason. He no longer loses access to weapons form getting hit, which they're already taking advantage off with a couple switches. He also borrowed Gunvolt's Flash Field, except it's more broken because the field itself does the tagging. At high level it tags everything on screen, making it the best room clearer.
The homing laser for your tank is also a lot better than the homing missiles ever were, and the jetpack makes platforming with Jason a lot less annoying.

I just hope the map gets a little patch though. Looking at it and not being able to tell the difference between actual power-ups and those respawning temporary health extenders is triggering my inner completionist.
Also not sure how I feel about your new co-pilot being tsundere bad boy Leibniz. That's just asking for (even more) yaoi doujins.

Gameplay-wise, I certainly hope you don't have to fight him in the 3rd game, because he was a bit of a bitch to fight in the 2nd one if your gun didn't have a high enough level for that reflector shield (which the 3rd one only has in the form of a dodge upgrade that requires way better timing).

Story-wise, he just needs a hug, and I hope I can fill his heart (aka anus) with light (aka semen).
