He does that because he's always been concerned about production quality and I guess he figures that two good videos a year is much better than ten or so crappy videos a year. Which is a good attitude if you can sustain yourself that way but it's almost a shame because I liked his older, crappier, videos where him and his friends ran around pretending to be Sonic Team on cocaine, and stuff.

He doesn't do stuff like that regularly for, I imagine, the same reason he left Game Grumps. He doesn't like people speculating on his life and his relationships with others.

Lewis seems to be the worst one at hiding the fact that he fucking loves the small amount of fame he's managed to amass. I may have mentioned this before, but I remember that JonTron once said that he felt uncomfortable referring to people as his "fans." I couldn't help but instantly think of the time Lewis thought himself important enough to ask his viewers to come up with a 'Whovian'-style collective nickname. I think Ben has also mentioned how he ghosted on a collaborative project as soon as he got "big" enough for it and the other collaborators to be "beneath" him.

He's always egotistical. His former HS friend said people she knew wouldn't hang with him, citing his ego. Same with others that were members of comic genesis that lived in the twin cities.

He cares more for fame than wealth. But it has to be the right kind of fame. Oneyplays making jokes or jontron putting him in a crystal ball has him write essays about how that is wrong. It has to be someone kissing his ass.

Jontron's vids get like 7 million views. He can make two a year and be fine with that. Why wear yourself out?
