I tried digging up the old Something Awful spoony thread on the wayback machine but NO DICE. (Maybe a nice Mulan necklace will get me through this hard time. )

Just to reiterate, from someone who witnessed The Meltdown in real time, Spoony was already flipping his shit on twitter when Lupa brought up the rape joke and said she couldn't be his friend anymore. He then went on a weird apology kick, ending with him begging her to take his dick and burn it. Then he continued with his meltdown, threatening to murder co-workers and fans when they tried to talk him down. At some point he talked about using a chainsaw on people. After several days, Channel Awesome fired him, though he would later do a gay commentary and claim he chose to quit because they weren't big enough to handle his immense fame.

The Meltdown was triggered by someone pointing out that Scarlett was going to be at a convention he was scheduled to attend. Since he has yet to meltdown over April like that, it's obvious who was more important to him. (He like 'em big like Voice.)

It's entirely possible Bekluvsdiru was behind this.
