Are you fuckers also stuck in 2010 along with Douche? 1440p is dirt cheap these days, and 4K is very affordable. Anybody who wants to use an external monitor for gaming or waching videos would be an idiot to buy 1080p, unless you have no money to spare.

But sure, I was speaking in general. But it just shows that they have no deside to advance even in the most basic stuff, that's what I'm pointing at - rendeding at higher resolutions is just about the easiest thing they could do, no extra work needed.

TIf you make something you cared about, it's good to upload it in the highest quality you can.

I get where you're coming from. However, if they cared they'd make videos that were worth watching in the first place.
Demand is also clearly not there. The current trend leans towards low effort stream clips, only made to double dip. You'd make high quality stuff to have it function as legacy videos that age well and that's clearly not where internet videos are heading.
