If there's a concrete reason his reviews are so bloated now besides hackery its probably from trying (and failing) to ride the algorithm.

There are barely any movies coming out, he is not going out to see those few in the cinema, so he just has a lot of time on his hands. Short, low effort VOD reviews, short, low effort Brad Tries, so a lot of time on his hands. And because he can only masturbate so many times while watching Laura get blacked, somehow he has to fill the hours.
So he jumps at pandemic/disaster movies because that is a hot topic now and instead of doing two 20 minute reviews, somehow he is overdoing it with those 1 hour reviews.

Fine to experiment, I guess, I am sure he will have a close eye on which makes more economical sense.

That's one good thing to come out of this yellow fever pandemic. It's prevented Brad from cranking out so many of those damn car reviews of every friggin movie that comes out.

A lot of people have commented that the INs have already mined all the good stuff for riffing and now they're scraping the bottom of the barrel. I think that may be true.
