You could say the same thing about the thousands of Christian denominations that sprung into existences throughout history, each having different interpretations of what is supposedly the same belief system. Like why is one translation of the Holy Bible more valid than the other one? How come not all the sects believe in a Holy Trinity? Stuff like that.

Organized religion is also the reason why all science wasnt lost in the dark ages and other periods, whether you want to admit it or not. Does that mean anything?
