Fuck you, he's the best genre films director of the 70s-80s. The Thing, Halloween, Assault on Precinct 13, Escape from New York, Big Trouble in Little China, They Live, Starman, The Fog, Christine and the list goes on. He was a pure genius.

I always wondered, why the fuck hasn't Sheryl Lee won any acting awards or been in bigger acting roles? People bitched for years about Leonardo Dicaprio not winning an Oscar, when is Sheryl Lee going to get her recognition?

In a better world she would've been nominated and won best actress for her performance in Fire Walk With Me.

Oh I remember my friends dragging me to the cinema for that one. The very first scene they're using all this high-tech equipment to drag Vampires from their house into the sun to burn them up. I immediately said, "Why don't they just set fire to the house?"

Why doesn't anybody ever just shoot batman in the face? Why doesn't John Rambo just leave town instead of getting in a fight with the sherrif? Why didn't kevin McCalliater just call 911? Etc. Etc. Etc. Those kinds of nitpicks can be applied to basically every movie ever made so they don't bother me.

Usually the sillier stuff like that comes in later in the movie after they've worked to suspend your sense of disbelief. This was the very first scene in the film.
