Ten? Though if Klaus Janson is inking it'll be fine, since he uses pencils as a vague guideline instead of others who just trace.

I've read most of Miller's work (used to be a pretty big fan of his back in my adolescence) and he hasn't done anything good since The Man Without Fear in 1993. His latest corporate sponsored bid to pay his hospital billth is no exception.

I was referring to JRJR. Never been a fan of his, until Wolverine Enemy of the State when Klaus made his art look somewhat decent.

I like JRJR but his speed coupled with his style not being suited to DC means that pretty much all his work for the company has been mediocre at best. I also didn't like Kick-Ass but that may have more to do with Mark Millar being a hack.

It's always bothered me how frequently they switch artists and writers around. Like, usually you get invested in a storyline because of the combination of the two and they always remove the writer and artist before anything comes to a conclusion so it can all get fucked up by incompetent people. Capeshit is the absolute worst.

Agreed. I'm no comic book reader for that reason.

I am however a fan of animation, from bugs bunny, to Animaniacs, Batman tas, and so forth.

I had this set of standards that goofy looking shit meant it was for loony toons etc, and better more realistic stuff was supposed to be more serious.

You look at capeshit, and most of it, if not 99%, is cartoonish shot that you look at and can't take seriously.

I guess that's because of all the padding they have to do. Either the creative team gets bored and moves on, or the editors panic when sales start to drop.

I mean, my favorite example - Spiderman's Clone Saga - was so bad about this with this mysteriiiious Judas Traveller character who was kept mysteriiiious for so long that they eventually realized that his creator - and only guy who knew wtf was up with that bloke - left long ago.
