I never understood why she was in those videos post-separation. Like, it was very clear that Brad was angry at her, as he was very snippy towards her, would constantly interrupt her, dismiss her viewpoints, and wouldn't give her much time to talk anyway. And it seemed like Brad was completely oblivious to his behavior. And yes, I agree that Jillian was stupid, obnoxious, and fat, but that's pretty much his entire crew anyway, so it's not like they have the higher ground here.

Jillian seemed supportive of brad but brad never really seemed supportive of her.

That's how I feel too. Even before they got married, she was doing the whole "Big Box Model" thing where she just stood there and smiled wearing something with cleavage while Brad taped her tits, and they were pretty blatant about how the whole thing was just to ogle her. She even went topless for the Snob Movie, but in the commentary she's really uncomfortable and they talked about her closing her eyes during that bit. After the divorce, she stopped wearing low-cut stuff in reviews and stuck with t-shirts, and she hasn't really done much flaunting on twitter, so I'm betting it was mostly Brad hoping to get some thirsty fucks to pay attention to him.

It's probably a similar thing to Linkara and Iron Liz where by the end he was just considering her another prop in the show.

Seriously? If she didn't want to do it she could have just not done it. Same rules as being an actress in Hollywood. I'm not going to accuse Brad of forcing her to objectify herself purely because of a video series she was willing to film several episodes of over the course of multiple years. There are a few success stories where the guys talk about how when they first started out, their wives had to sacrifice and work over time to make ends meet while the husband was trying to make his career in writing/film/whatever. That's basically what I'm talking about, she was doing what Brad asked so he could have a career online and he acted like an entitled dick to her. And it's not just the tits, it was putting up with Jerrid as well.

Yes... but that was also clearly the joke. It was intentionality sleazy. He was even doing a sleazy "jersey" type voice in those videos. So in that case I'm not gonna crucify him for it. Especially because it was early on in his career, when he was still the porno/exploitation guy. It was a bit of self-parody in that sense

I wouldn't be surprised if Jillian wanted to do that half-naked satirically sensual stuff, she seemed like the type to do it, and I don't think Brad would've been able to convince to her to do it if she didn't want to. As for her nude scene, like, that was post-divorce I believe, so she didn't have to do it, and even if she didn't feel comfortable about it, she always had the option of just saying no.

Yeah, I went a little harder on the sexy thing than I meant to to make my point. Here's another example of what I mean.

So for Midnight Screenings, in the first year or two, Brad made everyone buy their own tickets, except for Jerrid. And he kept all the ad revenue for himself. Jake mentioned a couple of times he bought his own ticket. And they had to stay out late for this, because that was back when they were actually at midnight, and then go to their jobs in the morning. Despite making some decent money off the reviews in the car (This was still pre-ad block being a widespread thing and Blip was still paying well), it was a few years before Brad ever gave them any money for it, and according to Dave, they don't get paid much.

Now yes, as you said, they do this voluntarily, but he's still a prick about it.
