Is a petty offense a civil or criminal matter in Illinois? If the former, the ticket would have defaulted and he'll get points on his license, possibly even have it suspended. If the latter, he's fucked because the judge will issue a warrant for his arrest and his ass will be in cuffs if he gets pulled over or encounters the police in any other context.

I know I shouldn't be, but I'm actually a bit surprised at how lazy and cowardly Noah Antwiler is. He literally ran away from his problems like a fucking child.
Why didn't he just pay the damn fine if he was too afraid of the big bad judge?

So I guess I'll say that Spoony didn't disappoint me if this is true. I thought he could compose himself like a grown man for at least 30 minutes or whatever to try and argue his case.... whatever that was.

Imagine if people actually showed up to this for nothing. Also it looks like he probably won't have a felon sadly.

If a person ignores the ticket or fails to appear in court on any court date scheduled, the judge will enter an ex parte judgment of conviction and assess a fine against that person in the amount set by the Illinois Supreme Court.
The conviction will be reported to the Illinois Secretary of State for entry on that person's driving record.
The Clerk of the Circuit Court will send that person a notice for the fine.
If a person fails to pay the fine within 46 days, the Illinois Secretary of State will be notified and he or she will not be allowed to renew, replace or re-classify his or her driver's license until the fine is paid.

So he's a bitch nigga and defaulted, but now he's gotta worry about the personal lawsuits that will be a slam fucking dunk if they decide to pursue.
