Speaking of which, Poonoo wondered out loud why we even bothered teaming with him. The answer is pretty simple and boring. It was a community project. One among many. He was just some fan who wanted to team up with the big boys. Some of us were just waiting for the chance to do something like this, and with Lewis on board, we thought we were just giving him some exposure. In real life, we don't have that instinct to tell people to go away.

I do now, but back then, my standards were a lot lower.

It was that and you said you all wanted to work with Al who I think you said was the first to jump in, who did his art in that old school comic style. I think he was way older than you guys and I remember you said you all had respect for him.

Except Lewis. You showed me that interview you guys did where Al said "Lewis here is still busy with college" and Lewis acted like it was true when he was actually on TGWTG making videos and not communicating with any of you because fuck you he got his fame.

Yeah, that interview is basically a deposition, because while he doesn't say it directly, he gives an affirmative response to everything that's being said about his living situation. And he never once brought up AT4W in that interview or to any of us in our email strings. There may still be record of the email of us finding his website. I'm having a little tougher time locating it though.

He's got real fans wanting to remake Lightbringer. One of them even contacted me for a crossover. Golly gee, I'm still a nice guy. I asked her to send me a draft, but I've heard nothing.

I'm really shocked that there've been no parody comics by now. I thought for sure there would be a Lightbringer/Sonichu crossover of some sort.

Stay with me here. What is somebody really wrote the back story, rethought his powers a bit, made the setting NOT one big rape fantasy, and had actual characters with dialog people can follow?

Picture this as a result; Lewis, who likely didn't copy right or register his superhero, who has tried to escape Lightbringer, suddenly sees people enjoying a better version of it that he could NEVER create.

Tone-wise, Lewis even wrote Lightbringer to be almost like a villain. Problem was he was so inconsistent with the writing. Lightbringer one chapter would be a beacon of hope ala Superman, the next be a barely on his leash vigilante like Batman, and fuck even copied the beaten up thug with the sign "NEVER!" that Rorschach did in Watchmen(and Rorschach being the most unhinged short of the Punisher a vigilante can be, lol!)
