That interview with Liz was pretty good, there is no dirt or anything too shocking but I am even more convinced she lurks here. When she was talking about the TGWTG people being in a bubble she flat out said she realised the "trolls" were right and that on the site you were protected too much. Let's be real here, it's likely the trolls were us.

Some of the shit from Suburban Knights reveal how scummy the whole company is. When Apollo mentioned Lindsay being pissed, I now know that it wasn't the whole tapped to a wall thing that was the major issue. Apparently when filming people would be there all day without fucking food and there was no where to get lunch near the set. They tried rushing filming so much that they didn't set time for people to fucking eat. The only food they could eat in the area where they were in was a Denny's for breakfast and dinner because travel was shit at the cheap hotel they were put in.

And one thing that was huge was when she got a minor ankle injury while filming. That year they made all the talent sign wavers saying they couldn't sue if they got hurt filming because during Kickassia there were issues. Liz didn't sign it because she was only meant to be a production assistant, but when she was injured they asked her to sign the waver. That is some disgusting, sleazy shit and luckily she ended up ok and it was only minor.

And for something so self-congratulatory, there's a whole lot of nothing happening. There's nothing of any consequence that happens in that movie. He resurrects his biggest foe just to kill him all over again. Big whoop.

I mean, if I had the hubris to think I could make a movie, I'd make it about...I dunno... SOMETHING.

All of his comics are like this too. Even the later ones that aren't as over the top shit, just boring.

I'm surprised he would ever want to dabble in comics again. We were the only ones who ever challenged him on his writing chops, and he clearly never took any of it to heart. He'd have to be protected by a team of script doctors around him at all times, implying that all of them are better writers than he is.

That clip annoys me because that guys job actually is valuable. Most tech engineers are major autists who are way more likely to snap at customers like Spoony or Lordkat. Not to mention his story lines. It's mostly the villain scheming and fucking around with side characters for forever while Linkara ponders about technology and magic - the latter of which he for some reason fleshed out with specific rules and limitations even so he loves his "It's magic, I don't have to explain it" meme.
And then it starts with a big, dumb "epic" fight scene where Linkara puts on his "serious" (aka constipated) look and fails with all of his previous toys and costumes until he pulls a new one out of his ass.

Linkara could improve immensely if he would just learn to shut his trap.

No, really. Writing characters is as simple as observing how the people around you communicate with one another. Playful dialogue. Small talk. The perspectives that trigger conversation. Once you can tweak into that, writing it is pretty easy. I mean, even Doge and Rob know how to do that.

Lewis doesn't know how to do it, so everything an OMG BIG EPIC MOMENT.

Also, let's be truly honest: Lewis only says Lightbringer sucks as a smokescreen. It's the quickest way he can disarm criticism for his past. If someone came up to him and talked about how much they loved Lightbringer and blew smoke up his ass about it, he'd switch modes and gush about how 'hard' he worked on it, and how much of a labor of love it was for him.

I've seen this behavior from him in the past, trust me.
