WOW
Doge Walker’s views on X-Men are just as ignorant as his views on Spider-Man.
Just saw his review of the original X-Men movie and it is PAINFULLY obvious that his only knowledge of X-Men comes from the 90s animated series and not the actual comics, and yet rather than admit that he pretends as if he’s an expert as to what’s faithful to the comics and what isn’t. His talk about Rogue in particular is cringe-inducing, as he’s behaving as though the Rogue he knows from the show: the tough, sassy, confident bruiser who can fly, who was the result of years of character development in the show, is the only accurate portrayal. He says that Anna Paquin’s version is “not getting Rogue right” even though it’s VERY accurate to how Rogue started out (except for cutting out her whole stint as a villain raised by Mystique in favor of giving her the “teenage girl who is close to Wolverine” role filled by several other characters in the comics). She began as an insecure, vulnerable young girl who ran away from home after putting her boyfriend in a coma, and gradually grew into the version Doge is talking about. That was clearly the same route that was being taken with Rogue in the films, the fact that it took until the end of the movie for her to acquire the white streak in her hair should’ve been a major clue-in, yet Doge (as usual) doesn’t see it because he refuses to apply some real thought to it, nor does he do any research into Rogue’s comic book history.
Doge, stop talking about things as if you know what you’re talking about.
YOU KNOW NOTHING

Why is he reviewing the first Xmen film anyway? It’s a pretty decent comic book film.

Because enough time has passed to be nostalgic about that film. I guess I mean, he used that kind of bullshit reasoning to justify his review of The Room. It's the same shit as the Matrix essentially, he doesn't get why they're even remotely good films and tictac's vid about it is cathartic.TheManWithNoPlan wrote: ↑Mon Mar 11, 2019 3:22 pmWhy is he reviewing the first Xmen film anyway? So... they're not really digging it. I'm kind of surprised they didn't cuck for it, like I hear Brad did.

Not that surprising really. I wouldn't be surprised if they'd praised it either, but I would have chalked it up to shit taste. The Walker bros have never really shilled for shitlibbery. They have zero interest in it. While everyone else is fighting the culture war they're sitting in the corner picking their noses and flicking boogers at each other.Liar Revealed wrote: ↑Mon Mar 11, 2019 4:24 pm

Re: WOW
The director, Bryan Singer, also only ever watched the cartoon. He also raped a bunch of boys, which Doge never brought up in the review.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Mar 11, 2019 2:43 pmJust saw [Doge's] review of the original X-Men movie and it is PAINFULLY obvious that his only knowledge of X-Men comes from the 90s animated series and not the actual comics...

Damn Brad…..Couldn't you at least wait for the smell of Black Panther's semen to leave your mouth before cucking for Captain Penis' Envy?
