Re: Movie Thread
I know right?! All those Lupas turned into swiss cheese.
I heard there were 2 sequels after this, but I never saw them.

Saw Misery for the first time. It was good. Some problems I had with it is that it lacked tension, Annie was good but the lack of depth to her character made the drama weaken despite Kathy Bates’ performance and the ending was lacklustre. It should have had more catharsis, James Caan should have kept bashing her head in with the typewriter rather than her actual death.

Just wait for a reboot to give her a 45+ minute origin story. The book as a little bit more, but nothing too deep, if I remember correctly.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Nov 19, 2018 1:04 amSaw Misery for the first time. It was good. And excessive gore was out of the question for that adaptation, apparently. I mean, in the book she didn't break his feet with a hammer so much as she chopped them off with an axe before cauterizing the stumps with a blowtorch or something.

From Dusk Til Dawn. What a sloppy unfocused mess that was. Starts out as a typical crime film with them on the run from the police then halfway through transitions into a boring action film where they fight the puniest vampires of all time. Only saving grace was George Clooney who actually put in a good performance (it was his breakthrough after all). Interesting to see him actually act rather than be the smug, fart smelling cunt he usually is.

People like him are the reason I had to finally cave and register, wretched lot they are.

Re: Movie Thread
The action scenes are so fucking hokey and shite. That scene where Danny Trejo launches at Ton Savini and he hops down is so laughably bad.
