I barely heard about him while he was alive, but he became big news after his death. Even a few coworkers of mine had heard about it. I heard nothing about how kind and upbeat he was, and how he had friends everywhere. He was like an internet saint.Guru Larry wrote: ↑Thu Aug 02, 2018 4:32 pmJewWario was friends with everyone on TGWTG, I heard rumours that he was "creepy" around his female fanbase, but they all stopped when he died.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Aug 02, 2018 3:37 pmWasn't Brad supposedly friends with JewWario? He probably doesn't care about his buds being peds.
The truth would certainly have come out much sooner had he remained alive.
I remember your favorite mortal enemy, Pat, on his podcast getting personally upset at Doge and Co. for not telling him about JW's alleged assault when they took (or were considering) taking him back in whatever group Pat was a part of at the time. But here's a thought: considering how likable and gosh golly wonderful he was, would anyone have believed Channel Awesome if they had told people about JW immediately after letting him go (barring legal issues and the victim's rights, of course)?
Personally, I think not. There would have been cries of "You're just jealous of him!" and other similar sentiments. Funny how a suicide and the passage of time make a difference.
